About Dr Ho

Shirhan is committed to providing quality care in the Southern Highlands and surrounding districts - providing up to 1,500 surgeries annually.


Shirhan grew up in Sydney. He studied Medicine and Surgery at Sydney University, passing with Honours in 1994 (MBBS).


He trained at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and St Vincents Hospital and was accepted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2001 (FRACS).


Shirhan was recognised as a highly skilled surgeon in his field and was subsequently offered the position of General Surgeon for the Southern Highlands and surrounding districts.


He went on to grow a practice that provides surgery to an ever increasing population, servicing both the Southern Highlands Private Hospital and the Bowral and District Hospitals.


Shirhan enjoys playing golf. And music. He has obtained A.MUS.A levels in both piano and violin.


Qualifications

Dr Shirhan Ho graduated from the University of Sydney in 1994 with honours (MBBS).

  • Registration: NSW Medical Board


He worked at St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney before moving to the Southern Highlands in 2001.
